It may be hard to believe but these large aluminium sliding doors are actually covered by fibreglass mesh flyscreens.

Darley Systems Used:
Flyscreen doors with Inseka Fibreglass mesh

For their home renovation, the homeowners wanted protection from insects and privacy but did not want a screening system that blocked their scenic outdoor views.

Victorian fabricator: Flyscreens and security doors had the perfect solution. By installing a flyscreen door with Insekta fibreglass mesh, that covered the entire length of the 6 metre plus aluminium sliding doors. There are many advantages in using fibreglass mesh for a flyscreen including providing a barrier against insets and pests. The homeowners can leave their aluminium sliding door open for natural airflow and ventilation and not have to worry about insects and small pests.  Fibreglass mesh can also provide a level of protection against UV rays and block the sun damage that can discolour
curtains and furniture.

One of the biggest advantages  in using fibreglass mesh has to be the fact that its unobtrusive and can seamlessly blend into the design and style of any sliding door and the home’s aesthetic. Insekta fibreglass mesh is durable, long lasting and comes in a variety of sizes and can used for all types of residential applications. To find out more contact your local Darley branch.
